Unanimous-consent agreements were reached providing for the consideration of S. 373, to reauthorize the program of finance assistance to meet special educational needs of disadvantaged children, and S. 1665, to amend the Farm Credit Act to ensure the continuation of the farm credit system as a source of agricultural credit at fair and competitive rates and other programs. The Senate confirmed the nomination of James H. Burnley IV as Secretary of Transportation.
