The Senate passed S. 5 by a voice vote, to provide for a Federal program for the improvement of child care. The Senate passed S. 633 by a voice vote, to promote the development of technologies which will enable fuel cells to use alternative fuel sources. The Senate passed S. 644 by a voice vote, to develop a national policy for the utilization of fuel cell technology. The Senate concurred in the amendments of the House to S. 694, to amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to extend the authority for the strategic petroleum reserve.
