The Senate Is Not In Session - Next Session Thursday, May 23 At 9:30 AM
Senate Session - July 22, 1993

Senator Moseley-Braun moved to reconsider an amendment to the
National Community Service Bill, and, after more than four hours of
heated debate, the motion to reconsider was passed. The amendment,
which would have renewed a patent held by the Daughters of the
Confederacy on their logo, part of which is the flag of the
Confederate States, failed to pass by a vote of 76 to 24.
