The Senate Is Not In Session - Next Session Monday, June 17 At 3:00 PM
Senate Session - November 29, 2018

The Senate continued work on judicial and executive nominations. Members advanced the nominations of Jonathan Kobes to be a circuit court judge for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and Kathleen Kraninger for director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). A final vote was scheduled on Thomas Farr’s nomination for district court judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina, but it was postponed after Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) announced his opposition, leaving Mr. Farr with not enough votes for confirmation.
