Senate Session - February 7, 2019

The Senate continued work on S. 47, the Natural Resources Management Act, which sets forth provisions regarding various programs, activities, and projects for the management and conservation of natural resources on federal lands. Members defeated a pair of amendments offered by Republican Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Mike Lee that sought to modify the bill. Majority Leader McConnell filed a cloture motion on the nomination of William Barr to be the next attorney general.
