The Senate considered several judicial and executive nominations, including confirming Kelly Craft to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced that the Senate would exercise its option to take another vote on President Trump's national emergency declaration for the U.S. southern border.
