Senate Session - December 3, 2019

The Senate confirmed Eric Komitee's nomination to be a judge for the Eastern District of New York. Members also voted in favor of limiting debate on John Sinatra nomination to be a U.S. District Court judge for the Western District of New York. Senators paid tribute to Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA), who was retiring at the end of the month. Senator Isakson also gave his farewell speech. Later, members voted in favor of limiting debate on four U.S. District Court nominations: Sarah Pitlyk, Eastern District of Missouri; Douglas Cole, Southern District of Ohio; R. Austin Huffaker Jr., Middle District of Alabama; and David Barlow, District of Utah.
