The Senate confirmed Lawrence Vandyke’s judicial nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and also voted to limit debate on three other nominations: John Sullivan, ambassador to Russia; Stephen Hahn, Food and Drug Administration commissioner; and Aurelia Skipwith, director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. In a 95-0 vote, members also passed H.R. 2333, the Support for Suicide Prevention Coordinators Act.
