Senate Passes $1.9 Trillion COVID-19 Relief Bill, 50-49
Senate Session - July 2, 2020

The Senate approved by unanimous consent a bill sanctioning China in response to imposing a new national security law on Hong Kong. Lawmakers also worked on Russell Vought’s nomination to be the director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and they continued work on the fiscal year 2021 Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
