Putnam amendment (A021) modified by unanimous consent. Modification adds a new section at the end of the bill titled "Disaster Assistance for Funeral Expenses" which directs the Director of FEMA to develop criteria and guidelines for determining if a death is disaster-related; and require staff to provide for analysis of each request for funeral expense assistance in order to support approval or disapproval of such assistance. |
