Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that notwithstanding rule XXII, the Senate resume consideration of H.R. 1586 at 2:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 16; further, that during any recess, adjournment or period of morning business, postcloture time continue to run; and that after the convening of the Senate at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, the Senate resume consideration of the House message with respect to H.R. 2847, and all postcloture time be considered expired, the motion to concur with an amendment
be withdrawn, and no further amendments or motions be in order, except as provided in the DeMint motion to suspend; that it be in order for Senator DeMint to offer a motion to suspend the rules in order to offer an amendment, and that if the motion is offered,
Senator DeMint be recognized for up to 10 minutes; that upon disposition of the DeMint motion, the Senate then vote on the motion to concur in the House amendments to the Senate amendment to the House amendment to the Senate amendment to the bill.
