The House Judiciary Subcommittee on Criminal Justice held a hearing on Computer Viruses and what can be done about them. Several incidences of viruses were cited, laws were seen as needing revision. Costs in lost time and cleanup were mentioned. Bills were being brought to the House on strengthening the Dept. of Justice with better resources to combat the threat.
