The Senate Armed Services Committee heard testimony about U.S. policy on Iraqi weapons inspections. Scott Ritter, a former U.N. weapons inspector, talked about his recent resignation from UNSCOM and the Clinton Administration’s policy of Iraqi disarmament. Mr. Ritter warned that Iraq, unchecked, could rearm itself with chemical and biological weapons within a matter of months. close
