Mr. Sweeney talked about working families and the global economy. He called for better labor organizing in developing countries and said future treaties should address workers rights. He also supported China’s entry into the World Trade Organization saying that membership was likely to reform Chinese policy, whereas non-membership would likely change nothing. After his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
