Awards were then presented for five categories: general nonfiction, criticism, poetry, biography/autobiography, and fiction. The winners were Ms. Brumel, Jorge Luis Marcus, Ms. Stone, Mr. Wiencek, and Mr. Lethem. Mr. Marcus' award was accepted by his editor, Mr. Weingerger. close
