After their closed meeting, representatives of the Bush and Gore campaigns as well as commission members announced that they had agreed to the commission’s schedule for three presidential and one vice presidential debates. They characterized their meeting as cordial and said that they still had to agree on details of the format for the debates. After their remarks they answered questions from reporters. close
