Phyllis Schlafly talked about her career as an author and views on feminism. She is known primarily as the founder and president of Eagle Forum and as the leader of Stop ERA, a movement opposing passage of the Equal Rights Amendment. She was twice a Republican candidate for Congress from Illinois, in 1952 and 1970. She publishes a newsletter called The Phyllis Schlafly Report, writes a syndicated column that runs in 100 newspapers, records radio commentaries that are heard daily on 460 radio stations, and hosts a radio talk show on education called Phyllis Schlafly Live. Phyllis Schlafly is also the author or editor of sixteen books. During the program she responded to viewer comments and questions. close
