Leaders of labor groups talked about whether the U.S. is exporting jobs to other countries. What policies could be developed to slow this trend and to begin creating jobs in U.S. manufacturing. Honduran workers described the substandard conditions and low pay of the factories where they work to illustrate that NAFTA has not helped them better themselves. The other speakers also described the loss of jobs because of NAFTA agreements.
