Justices heard oral arguments in two cases involving the detention of foreign nationals captured abroad and incarcerated at Guantanamo Naval Base in Cuba. The cases are Rasul v. Bush and Al-Odah v. United States. Audio of the arguments was played over still images of the participants. This was the fourth time the court had released audio immediately following arguments in a case. close
