BookExpo Author Breakfast

Author Graydon Carter hosted the Sunday Authors Breakfast panel at BookExpo America. Mr. Carter talked about his forthcoming book What We’ve Lost: America Under the Bush Administration, published by Farrar Straus Giroux. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of the nation in all areas, including the economy, environment, and civil rights as well as the war in Iraq. Tom Wolfe talked about his forthcoming book I Am Charlotte Simmons, published by Farrar Straus Giroux. The book is a novel about college life and contemporary society. Jon Stewart talked about the book he co-authored, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction, published by Warner Books. Mr. Stewart responded to questions from members of the audience. Gish Jen talked about her book The Love Wife: A Novel, published by Alfred A. Knopf. She discussed the writing process. close
