The September 11th Commission conducted its final set of public hearings. Commission staff offered a statement on the history of al Qaeda. Intelligence officials testified about the use of commercial aircraft as weapons of terror. They outlined the details of the 9/11 attack and the plan’s various iterations prior to execution.
