Members of the Congressional Black Caucus spoke to reporters about the November 2 election results, saying that it was an historic election with a large voter turnout. Topics included very long lines in some districts, memories of the 2000 election, the four new members of the Congressional Black Caucus, including Senator-elect Obama (D-IL) who is only the third African American since Reconstruction to be elected to the U.S. Senate. After their remarks they answered reporters' questions. close
