Senators Harry Reid (D-Nevada) and Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota) criticized congressional oversight of the Bush administration and announced a new Democratic Policy Committee initiative that would include monthly hearings by the policy committee on various areas of oversight of the executive branch. After their remarks, the senators answered reporters' questions.
