President Bush talked about stem cell research and his opposition to embryonic stem cell research. He said he had just met with 21 families who had adopted, or given up for adoption, frozen embryos that remained after fertility treatments. He also said there were 21 children present who were the result of these adoptions. Topics included respect for human life, the availability of stem cell lines, and the National Institutes of Health Budget. close
