In his first speech on urban policy since hurricane disasters along the Gulf Coast, Former New Orleans Mayor Morial talked about his trip to New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, the impact of hurricane damage on lower-income communities, federal recovery efforts, and rebuilding devastated areas. He also talked about inclusion of minority communities in reconstruction efforts, labor policies, and opportunities for minorities in the region.
