Democratic members of the House of Representatives spoke to reporters about letters they prepared for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Peter Hoekstra and National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley. They discussed pre-war intelligence regarding Iraq as well as the differences between intelligence information Congress receives and those the president sees.

Following their remarks, the U.S. Representatives responded to questions and comments from the reporters. Among the topics they addressed were the remarks by Congressman John Murtha (D-PA) calling for the immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops. Representative Harmon moderated the discussion. close
