As part of a three-day conference called, “Aftershock: Rethinking the Future Since September 11,” panel members talked about the role of the U.S. in the world since the September 11 attacks. Topics included the danger of further terrorist attacks, political and moral leadership, international borders, the perception of the U.S. by other countries, and Middle Eastern oil. After their presentations the panelists responded to audience members' questions.
