As part of the annual Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Distinguished Lecture on Women and the Law, this program is the first hour of a panel discussion by women chief justices. Ms. Schafran moderated. Justice Ginsburg introduced the panelists. Topics included the effect of women on high federal and state courts, setting an example for other women, the importance of diversity of gender and race, and whether women have different life experiences and therefore different views of court cases. close
