Witnesses testified about allegations that the Dragon Skin flexible armor produced by Pinnacle Armor outperforms the Interceptor Body Armor system used by the military. U.S. military officials disputed the results of tests conducted by NBC News but is conducting its own tests. Topics included the full spectrum of body armor and other protection for personnel, federal budget appropriations for protective gear, testing specifications and details, and combat experience testimony.

Mr. Coyle is a former director of operational tests and evaluation for the Defense Department.
