Telephone lines were open for comments on two questions.

The first question was “Have you Changed Your Mind on Iraq?” Video clips were shown of Senator John Warner talking the previous day about his plan for Iraq and of President Bush’s speech on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at the 108th National Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. held in Kansas City, Missouri.

The second question, “Should Wallace Shooter Be Freed?” dealt with Arthur Bremmer, who shot presidential candidate George Wallace in 1972. Mr. Bremmer is scheduled to be released from prison later in the year. close
