To commemorate the upcoming 50th anniversary of the “Little Rock Nine,” the Newseum and the National Archives Experience presented “50 Years After Little Rock: The Media and the Movement.” The program included an excerpt from the Newseum’s original documentary, The Press and the Civil Rights Movement. Newseum producer Frank Bond moderated a discussion on the media’s coverage of the integration of Little Rock Central High School in 1957 and subsequent issues relating to race, justice and equality.
