Commissioner Copps talked about his opposition to the current effort by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Kevin Martin to relax media ownership rules. He responded to a vido clip from October 26, 2007, of comments made by David Rehr, president and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters, about localism and media ownership. Other issues included the transition to digital television on February 17, 2009.
