Panelists spoke about the state of cancer research and public policy. They focused on facilitating the rapid transfer of promising cancer drug and treatment discoveries from the laboratory to patient care. Topics included the need for public policy and funding support and educating the public about research, prevention, and treatment. Susan Dentzer moderated.

“Discovery to Delivery: A Public Forum about the Future of Cancer Research” was sponsored by the Friends of Cancer Research and the University of Louisville’s James Graham Brown Cancer Center. It was held in the auditorium of the Ambulatory Care Building of the University of Louisville Hospital. close
