A panel discussion was held on Arab views of the upcoming U.S. presidential election. Abderrahim Foukara moderated. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. Then Ambassador Hassouna spoke about the future of U.S.-Arab relations. He responded to questions from members of the audience. John Duke Anthony delivered the concluding remarks of the two-day conference.

“U.S. Presidential Election 2008: Views from the Arab World” was the title of the panel discussion. “Arab-U.S. Relations - The Way Forward: Views from the Arab World” was the title of Ambassador Hassouna’s speech at the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations 17th Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference, “Transitioning the White House: Challenges and Opportunities for Arab-U.S. Relations,” which was held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. close
