A panel discussion was held on the merits of withdrawing from Iraq and Afghanistan. The panelists also talked about what did and did not work in Iraq and President Obama’s plans for Afghanistan. They responded to questions from members of the audience.

Ivan Eland is the author of Partitioning for Peace: An Exit Strategy for Iraq. Peter Galbraith is the author of The End of Iraq: How American Incompetence Created a War Without End. Charles Pena, foreign policy advisor for the 2008 Ron Paul Presidential Campaign, is the co-author of Exiting Iraq: Why the U.S. Must End the Military Occupation and Renew the War Against Al Qaeda.
