A ceremony was held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the first shots of the Civil War fired at Fort Sumter on April 12, 1861. The ceremony included the Citadel Color Guard and singing “My Country 'Tis of Thee.” Comments by invited dignitaries were followed by a military salute by uniformed Union re-enactors. close
