Special Envoy for Sudan Princeton Lyman spoke to reporters about Sudan. In his remarks he was optimistic that Southern Sudan is on track to become an independent state on July 9th, 2011. He noted the numerous challenges the south faces, but said he expects the July 9th event to be “jubilant.” close
