Telephone lines were open for comments on the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), a House bill that would allow copyright holders and U.S. law enforcement to get court orders to shut down Web sites accused of facilitating or enabling copyright infringement. Several sites, including Wikipedia and Reddit, have blacked out their content in protest of the legislation. close
