Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates spoke about his memoir, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War. In the book, Mr. Gates, who served as secretary of defense under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, talks about his management of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and shares stories about his relationship with the White House and Congress. Mr. Gates was interviewed by Chris Mondics and responded to questions submitted by members of the audience. This was a Town Hall program at the National Constitution Center. close
