Dutch politician Marietje Schaake Marietje Schaake was interviewed by Barbara Slavin about her visit to Iran as a member of the European Parliament. She said Iranians feel the West targets the country unfairly regarding its human rights record, political prisoners, and Internet freedom. She asserted that despite a new Iranian president, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was still in charge. She also spoke about how Iran manages the Internet access and social media. close
