Secretary John Kerry and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo delivered remarks at City Hall in Paris about the shootings at French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and at a kosher supermarket. Secretary Kerry told the audience that he wanted to “share a big hug with Paris” and reiterated America’s friendship and solidarity with France. Secretary Kerry spoke in French for the majority of the news conference. Mayor Hidalgo paid tribute to the heroes and victims of the attacks and said that Paris would not give up.
