Youth leaders talked about their efforts to engage with young people in broader violence prevention programs. The leaders came from cities around the country, including from Baltimore, Cleveland, Louisville, Memphis, and New Orleans.

The Fourth National Summit on Youth Violence Prevention, “Reducing Violence/Building Community: From Promise to Practice,” was held May 11-13, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, an urban neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia. The National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention is a federal interagency initiative co-led by the Departments of Justice and Education. close
