Governor John Kasich (R-OH), a former candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, delivered the keynote address. Hasan Minhaj, a comedian, actor, and senior correspondent on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” served as the guest entertainer for the dinner. This portion of the program began with a video memorializing journalists who had died during the year.
