Dr. Anthony Fauci talked about the threat posed by the Zika virus, including the risk of local transmission in the U.S. and concerns about the upcoming Olympic Games. He said local cases of the Zika virus in Florida were not unexpected but a widespread outbreak was unlikely to occur. In addition, he urged Congress to approve funding for Zika research and outlined the impact of the virus on the Summer Olympics in Brazil. close
