Newly appointed U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan testified before a House Homeland Security Subcommittee on the effectiveness of border patrol checkpoints. Chief Morgan discussed U.S Border Patrol strategy, national security, and resources needed by the agency. The subcommittee also heard testimony from U.S.-Mexico border residents on their experiences with border control and solutions for the safety of their communities. close
