Attorney General Loretta Lynch delivered keynote remarks during the “Education and Justice” plenary session of the National Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Conference. She talked about improving relations between law enforcement and students at black colleges and universities She urged HBCUs to lead the effort in rebuilding trust among communities and law enforcement and providing a safe space for conversations. Attorney General Lynch said the conscience of the nation cannot rest until all Americans feel respected and protected by the law.
