President Obama gave his final national security speech at MacDill Air Force Base. He talked about counterterrorism efforts during his administration that targeted ISIS* and other terrorist groups, and hailed the Iran nuclear deal as a diplomatic solution that has made the U.S. safer. He also talked about closing Guantanamo Bay prison. President Obama noted that he was the first president to serve two full terms during a time of war.
