Representatives Diane Black (R-TN) and Liz Cheney (R-WY) made brief statements and responded to questions from reporters about their party’s priorities for the 115th Congress and the Trump administration. They talked about employment and health care policy, as well as a potentially forthcoming executive order from President Trump that would expand the use of enhanced interrogation techniques among other actions. They were in Philadelphia for the annual congressional retreat, the 2017 “Congress of Tomorrow” Joint Republican Issues Conference. close
