President Trump held a joint news conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg at the White House. Both leaders emphasized the strong relations between the two nations. During questions from reporters, the president stressed that any immigration deal must include funding for the border wall. His response comes one day after meeting with lawmakers from both sides. When asked about whether he would agree to an interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller regarding the Russia investigation, he said, “...we’ll see what happens.” He reiterated his claim that there was no collusion between his presidential campaign and Russia, calling the charge a “Democrat hoax.” close
