Following their weekly caucus luncheon, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and other members of Senate party leadership spoke to reporters. Leader McConnell said he does not think Special Counsel Robert Mueller should be allowed to finish the job of investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also added that Mr. Mueller is a “thoroughly credible” and an "appropriate appointment". close
